After a crash, a lot of people in the neighborhood do one of two things. Some go to a sobador or huesero, someone the family has trusted for years, who speaks their language and doesn't make it complicated. Others go to urgent care or the ER, get cleared for fractures, and leave with a prescription for pain medication and a referral to physical therapy.
Neither of those is wrong. What both can leave out is a written record of how your spine and soft tissue were in the days right after the crash. Symptoms from a collision commonly show up 24–72 hours later, and if nobody documents them early, that information is gone months later when an insurer asks what happened. We examine first, measure with the same validated questionnaires at every re-evaluation, and write it all down.
