What "same-day" means here

What your first visit covers

  1. History. How the crash happened, where you were sitting, what hurts, and when each symptom started.
  2. Exam. Orthopedic and neurological tests and range-of-motion measurements, with X-rays if the exam calls for them.
  3. Documentation. Your findings are written down and dated at this first visit, then measured again at each re-evaluation.
  4. A treatment plan. Dr. Ben Glass explains what the exam found and what he recommends, in plain language, before anything starts. Care is available in English and Spanish.

Bring a photo ID, your auto insurance information, and any police report or ER paperwork you have. If you don't have those yet, come anyway.

Why being seen early matters

Adrenaline can mask pain at the scene. Stiffness, headaches, or pain running down an arm or leg often show up a day or two later. An exam puts what you are feeling on the record while it is recent.

If you make a claim, the insurance adjuster will look at the gap between the date of the crash and the date of your first visit. A short gap, with findings written down by a treating provider, is harder to dispute than a long one. That record exists whether or not you ever file a claim.

How payment works

Auto insurance, MedPay, PIP, and liens accepted. The clinic does not bill health insurance or workers' comp.

No lawyer or referral needed

In California you can see a chiropractor directly, with no referral from a physician and no preauthorization from your insurer.

You are treated whether or not you have an attorney. If you do have one, the clinic handles communication with your attorney and your other providers.

Same-day appointment questions

Is a same-day appointment guaranteed?

No. Slots are held every day for new accident patients, and most people who call early can be seen that day. When the day's slots are taken, we give you the next open time.

My pain started days after the crash. Can I still get a same-day slot?

Yes. Delayed symptoms are common after a collision, and the slots are for new accident patients whenever their symptoms began. Tell us when each symptom started. Why pain can show up later

Should I go to the ER first?

If you have signs of a serious injury, such as chest pain, loss of consciousness, a severe head injury, or worsening numbness or weakness, yes: go to the emergency room or call 911. An ER visit rules out emergencies. It is not set up to examine soft tissue and spinal injuries in detail, which is what this visit is for.

Can I be seen in Spanish?

Yes. Dr. Glass examines and treats patients in English and Spanish without an interpreter. Russian is also spoken at the practice. Atención en español

Can I book online instead of calling?

Yes. Use the online scheduler and choose the first open time. Calling is the quickest way to find out whether a same-day slot is still open.
